Amazing Creatures Living Underwater In Galapagos Rift
Our planet is full of wonders and surprises like these living creatures that have just been discovered by scientists.
The exploration vessel E/V Nautilus visited the Galapagos Rift and filmed some of the beautiful creatures that live in the Galapagos hydrothermal vents.
The explorers were mesmerized while looking at these magnificent sea creatures, which include the bizarre and flamboyant squid worm, a new species that was first discovered in the Philippines in 2007.
Because of the explorer’s work, we now witness and appreciate more than ever the diversity and continued discovery of new species living in our oceans.
The E/V Nautilus is operated by the Ocean Exploration Trust headed by Dr. Robert Ballard, the man who found the wreck of the Titanic.
