Before you throw away your plastic bottles in the trash bin, try this amazing science experiment which can be used to create charge for your phone battery.
South Korean power plant operator s Thomas Kim has come up with a simple, practical, but ingenious home-made generator made out of disposable materials. He uses plastic bottles and some discarded items to create a waterwheel which is then connected to a 3-phase stepper motor.
The flowing water from the stream rotates the waterwheel, and with the help of the 3-phase motor, the device generates enough electricity to recharge mobile phones and camping led lights.
