Silverleaf have been artisan goldsmiths since 1983. Recently, they started making one-of-a-kind bookmarks made of silver that tell precious stories. These bookmarks are not printed, lasered on, or machine made. Each is completely handcrafted and personally signed. The attention to detail makes these reading accessories unique and special.
According to Silverleaf, “The plate of solid silver is drawn on by hand. Then it is brushed and engraved on the burnished or polished side. It is finally finished with oxidation and polishing of the details. Because of this process, not a single bookmark looks the same as any other. Everything is unique – engraving, cutting and weight. It takes some time to finish our bookmarks as there are only two of us working on them.”
