Texas Man Saves His Family And Property From Floodwaters With Massive Inflatable Contraption

Heavy rains forced thousands of families in Brazoria County, Texas to evacuate their homes as the record breaking flood which ensued reached a high of 27 inches.

But one home-owner from Rosharon opted not to leave and was able to keep his family and property safe and dry from the raging floodwaters.

Randy Wagner encircled his house with a massive weird-looking tube filled with water to act as a sandbag.

Called the Aqua Dam, the water-inflated barrier stays firmly in place and effectively blocks the water that comes in their place. The hefty water weight inside the plastic dam presses against the ground and seals the surface to avoid water leakage.

“I was the crazy guy, everybody was kinda going by laughing at me but today, they are really impressed with this Aqua Dam”, Wagner says in the video.

Wagner drove from Texas to Louisiana just to purchase this lifesaving invention which he found on the internet. Wagner cost him $8,300 to bring home the Aqua Dam.

He added, $8,300 is to me a small investment on a house that could have two feet of water in it and cost me $150,000 in repairs,”
