Two Dancers Perform "Gravity-Defying" Waltz On The Wall
Two professional dancers lift dancing to the next level as they dance gracefully not on the dance floor but on a vertical side of a building.
Suspended on the side of Oakland’s 18-story City Hall, dancers Amelia Rudolph and Roel Seeber perform their breathtaking version of waltz on the wall. The lovely entertainers display a series of spectacular aerial routines.
In a worm’s eye view angle, the dancers give the impression of defying the gravity as they glide freely, spin spontaneously, and soar effortlessly on the wall.
This spectacular exhibition is one of the highlights in the city’s Art+Soul Festival.
Rudolf and Seeber are members of the Bandaloop dance troupe, a group who specialize in vertical dance.
