Your Gigantic Head Becomes Part Of A Famous Art Gallery
Georgian artist Tezi Gabunia’s exhibit aptly named “Put Your Head Into Gallery” brings you up front and close to famous art galleries around the world. In this series, he creates mini versions of Louvre, Saatchi Gallery, Tate Modern, and Gagosian Gallery. Each piece features replicas of art works by Damien Hirst, Peter Paul Rubens, Roy Lichtenstein, and Gabunia himself.
Tezi gained Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at Gregorian Technical University. He opened his own art studio in 2011 and since then he had produced over 100 paintings and over 20 series of art installations. He uses a method called “falsification” which is a reflection of basic features of the contemporary world.
